We announce the death of Maria Tofalo of Danvers, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 78. Maria will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arcangelo Gesualdi and Costanza Gesualdi (DelVicario); and her siblings, Anna Calitri and John Gesualdi. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Tofalo of Danvers, Daniel Tofalo (Patricia) of Melrose and Michelle Sutherland (Joseph) of Danvers; her sister Grazia Mastrangelo of Danvers; her sister-in-law Giuseppina Gesualdi of Danvers; and her granddaughters, Gianna, Emma, Allyson and Rachel (Michael Tofalo). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Maria's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Epilepsy Foundation. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Maria Tofalo 's name.
