He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Collins and Loretta Collins (Pleau). He is survived by: his wife Fernande Collins (Chalifour); his children, Mark Collins (Susan) of Wolfeboro, Cheryl Aparo of Rockport, Patricia Douglass of Danvers and Lisa Gasperoni (James) of Newburyport; his sister Joan McCarthy of Danvers; and his son-in-law Armand Aparo. He is also survived by grandchildren; and 14 adored great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
