He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Merry and Blanca Merry (Barrios); and his brother Russell S. Merry. He is survived by: his son Richard W. Merry, II (Stacey Terry) of Ipswich; his granddaughter Adrianna Merry of Beverly; and his brothers, Howard A. Merry, Jr. (Ellen), Luis Q. Merry of Ipswich, William B. Merry (Linda) of Ipswich and George Merry (Kim) of Danvers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
