He was predeceased by: his parents, Olivier Richard and Yvonne Richard (Lamontagne); and his siblings, George (Eleanor), Paul (Elizabeth), Raymond, Jean, Roland, Theresa and Jeanette Beaupre (Robert).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Richard (Williams); his children, Brian (Julie) of Danvers, Steven (Michelle) of Bellingham and Denise (Jamie) of Danvers; his grandchildren, Matthew of Denver, CO, Tyler of Pembroke, Gabrielle of Lynn, Lindsay of Danvers, Jared Casey of Danvers and Steven Jr. of Bellingham; his siblings, Robert Richard (Denise) of Chandler, AZ, Aline Bentham (Robert) of Punta Gorda, FL and Betty Richard (George Rogers) of Salem; and his sister-in-law Diane Richard of Hemet, CA..
