We are sad to announce that, on May 1, 2026, at the age of 43, Derek N. Amaral of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, born in New Bedford, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Derek N. Amaral to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent-in-law Aniceto Tiburcio; and his grandparents, José, Maria DaSilva and Silvino Amaral. He is survived by: his parents, Nelson Amaral and Giselle Amaral (Da Silva) of Dartmouth; his wife Sandra P. Amaral (Tiburcio) of Dartmouth; his daughters, Ava of Dartmouth and Aubrey Amaral of Dartmouth; his sister Stacey Carvalho (Benjamin) of Dartmouth; his mother-in-law Dolores Tiburcio of Dartmouth; his brother-in-law Daniel Tiburcio of Dartmouth; and his nieces and nephews, Hunter, Zackary, Parker and Olivia Carvalho. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many devoted friends.
