He is survived by: his wife Isabella; his children, Lynn Rivera (Ramon) of Rochester, MA, James Krynicki Jr. (Melissa) of Dartmouth, MA and Melissa Sylvia (Jamie) of Dartmouth, MA.; his grandchildren, Colby Patrick Sylvia, Alex James Krynicki and Charlotte Isabelle Sylvia; his sister-in-law Theresa Freitas; and his caregivers, Priscilla, Patty, Veronica, Lynn, Lauren, Stephanie, Mary, Tara, Laurie, Rose, Sara and Jane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, friends.
