With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lidia F. Deus of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband José Deus, Jr.; her parents, Manuel Furtado and Beatriz Furtado (Ferreira); and her siblings, Manuel Furtado João Furtado, Jaime Furtado, Louis Furtado, Gloria Amaral, Guilhermina Raposo, Naria Sousa, Jorgelina Pacheco, Dora Ferreira and Ilda Ferreira.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda L. Soares (Mike) of Dartmouth; her grandchildren, Ricky Pontes and Stacey Barbosa; her great grandchildren, Lathan, Talon, Brailynn and Robbie; and her pets, Zyra, Nike and Squiggy. She is also survived by several Godchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
