It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Araujo of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Maria Araujo (Costa); his parents, Joao and Conceicao Araujo (Arruda); and his siblings, Jose Araujo of Canada and Benvinda Andrade of Sao Miguel.
He is survived by: his wife Deolinda Araujo (Arruda); his children, Kevin Araujo and Sandy Araujo of Dartmouth; his stepson Danny Arruda of Florida; and his siblings, Diolinda Reis, Gilda Aguiar, Joao of Sao Miguel, Gil of Sao Miguel, Fernando of Sao Miguel and Duarte Araujo of Sao Miguel.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Manuel's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
