Michael leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Michael’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Michael will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bridie Walker (Lee) and Alpheus H. Walker; and his brother Alpheus Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Blair Handwerger Walker of Dartmouth; his children, Kenneth (Elizabeth) of Marietta, GA and Kate of Brooklyn, NY.; and his sisters, Martha Haddock of Rangeley Town, ME and Joan Woods of Florida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In recent years, Michael enjoyed volunteering at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center, 38 Bethel St., New Bedford, where donations may be made in lieu of flowers.
