It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silvino S. Santos of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Americo Santos and Rita Santos (Almeida); his sister Helena Vasconcelos; and also Antonio Santos. He is survived by : his wife Maria A. S. (Pacheco); his caregiver Jada Baptiste; his brothers, Americo Santos of New Bedford and Antonio A. Santos (Maria Gabriella Santos) of Dartmouth; his niece Elizabeth Mota; his sister Maria Helena Reis of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Paulo, Teresa and Leslie; his sister-in-law Margaret Hashemi-Pour (Majid) of Swansea; his nieces and nephews, Cameron and Arian; and also, Richard, Andrew, Nicholas, Paula Mota (Daniel), Leah, Alyssa, Jessica Cornieles (Damien), Emma, Mason, Tony Santos (Danielle), Elliot, Everet, Peter and Marlene. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, many other great-nieces, great-nephews and several cousins.
