He was predeceased by: his brother Kenneth Roberts; and his parents, Edward Roberts and Eileen Roberts (Cannon) of Newton. He is survived by: his wife Gerri Roberts; his children, Sean Roberts (Marybeth) of Lunenburg and Caitlyn Roberts of Dedham; his grandchildren, Evan, Makenzie, Joleen, Norah, Rose Gilligan, Lauren, Veronica and Keira Foley; and his family Dave.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (dana-farber.org) in memory of David Roberts to support cancer research and patient care.
