She was predeceased by: her spouse Emidio DiVirgilio, Sr.; her parents, Nicola Genovesi and Michelina Prospero; and her siblings, Rafaello, Ferdinando, Giovanni, Antonio, Josepina, Angelina and Lucia.
She is survived by: her child Emidio DiVirgilio, Jr. (Teresa) of Walpole; and her grandchildren, Christina DiVirgilio (Joseph Wisialko) of Westwood, Anthony DiVirgilio (Juliana) of Arlington, Donna DiVirgilio, Darryl DiVirgilio, Susan Abdou, David Britt and Carmen Ernest DiVirgilio.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Filomena to The Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
