With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerard R. Thissell of Dedham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thissell and Janet Thissell; and his siblings, Frank, George, Thomas, William, John and Janet Walsh.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Thissell (Walsh); his daughters, Katie McCorrison (Jeff) of Dedham, Barbara Reardon (Ed) of Norwood and Christine Doherty (Scott) of Norfolk; and his grandchildren, Marty, Jack McCorrison (Allison), Owen and Ava Doherty.
