Grace Evangeline (Franz) Tighe Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Evangeline (Franz) Tighe of Dedham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Thomas Tighe; her children, Mary Tighe (David D'Amore) of Dedham, Kathleen "Katie" Downing (Richard) of Dedham, Ellen Rutherford (Patrick), Patrick Tighe (Michelle) and John "Jack" Tighe (Caroline) of Dedham; her brothers, Clement Franz of Tyngsboro and Edward Franz, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kara, Shawna, Molly, Kerianne, Thomas, Margaret, Karlene, Julia, Anna, Meghan, Sadie, Grace, George, Mary, Jake, Griffin and Isabelle; and her great grandchildren, Lilah, Nico and Zane. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
