It is with sadness that the passing of Margot (Copeland) Pyle of Dedham, Massachusetts is shared. Margot, born on March 7, 1935, passed away on August 8, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margot (Copeland) Pyle to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Copeland (Hunter) and Lowell Townsend Copeland; her husband Charles McAlpin Pyle Jr. Loving; her son Duncan Adsit Pyle; and her sister Caroline Copeland Fisher of Pittsburgh.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Pyle Handler (Steven) of Needham, Stuart Hunter Pyle of Marshfield and Russell Townsend Pyle (Elizabeth) of Chestnut Hill; her stepson Charles McAlpin Pyle III (Sarah) of Francestown, N. H.; her sister Ann Copeland Billings of Walpole; and her grandsons, David, Matthew Handler (Allison), Charles, Edward (Molly), Thomas and Duncan Pyle. She is also survived by five nieces, five great nieces and 11 great nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Country Club (191 Clyde St, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Dedham Savings Community Foundation, 55 Elm Street, Dedham, MA 02026, to any of the educational institutions with which she was affiliated, The Dedham Community House, or to a charity of your choice.
