He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Prescott and Lillian Susan Abbott (Brennan); and his brother Robert Abbott. He is survived by: his wife Margot (Zinnack); his children, Richard Michael Abbott (Betsy) of Dedham, Kevin Robert Abbott (Cristianne) of Sharon and Susan Corinne Abbott (Scott Rogers) of Haverhill; his sisters, Arlene Caruso of Wrentham, Gail Scott of Hampton and Mary Sue Sheppard of Haverhill; and his grandchildren, Cody, Annie Joy, Tiago and Sofia.
