It is with sadness that the passing of Russell A. Dolabany of Dedham, Massachusetts is shared. Russell, born on January 11, 1941, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Leila Bunai, Souheil Dawlabany, Lama Akl, Mary David, James Dolabany, Moufid Dolabany and Salwa Dawlabany.
He is survived by: his wife Rose (Karak); his children, Richard Dolabany (Mary) of Westwood, Rachel Elias (Jihad) of Norwood and Renee Tannous (Antoone) of North Easton; his grandchildren, Mya, Russell, Luke, Serena, Trinity, Anthony and Sam; and his siblings, Fouad Daoulabani of West Roxbury and Georgette Daouli. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Matthew's Syriac Orthodox Church (149 Park St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Gardens Cemetery (670 Baker St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
