The memory of Shirley P. Mingels of Dedham, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 97, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Alber and Anna Stacia Alber (Meighan); her spouse Francis T. Mingels; her sister Ruth Alber; and her stepchildren, James J. Mingels, Gerard B. Mingels and Anne Jay Obuchon.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark W. Mingels (Betsy) of East Bridgewater and Scott F. Mingels of Dedham; her sister Carolyn Cochrane of Norwood; and her stepdaughter Emily Jeanne Mingels of Richmond, Virginia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Folsom Funeral Home (87 Milton St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar St. Luke's Lutheran Church (950 East St, Dedham, MA 02026). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at the Knollwood Memorial Park (321 High St, Canton, MA 02021).
In lieu of flowers donations to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 950 East Street, Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
