With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Therese M. (Downing) Stegall of Dedham, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Therese M.'s memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Therese M.'s journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Herbert M. Stegall; her children, Anne Marie MacDougall (William) of Berkley, MA, Paula T. Stegall (Thomas Fahey) of Augusta, ME and Robert W. Stegall (late Katie); and her sibling Beverly O'Rourke of Colorado. She was also cherished by 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Church.
