In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen R. Lombardi (Ward); his children, Joseph Lombardi (Elle) of Easton, Rita Lombardi (Phil) of Canton, Jim Lombardi (Kelly) of Walpole, Michael Lombardi and Eileen Lombardi of Walpole; and his sisters, Josephine Sarno (late Leo) of Norwood and Sonya French. He was also cherished by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home (456 High St, Dedham, MA 02026). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (420 High St, Dedham, MA 02026).
