He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Salter and Jessie Salter (Dawe). He is survived by: his significant other Cynthia Morey of Deerfield; his son David T. Salter; his stepchildren, C. J. Plesnar (Cari), Mike Tessier (Melinda) and Tammy Lowell (Dave); his grandchildren, Joe, Amanda, Hayley, Kylie, Hannah, Logan and Levi; his stepgrandchildren, Dominic and Derik; his sister Ruth Honke (Salter); and his siblings-in-law, Sue and Tim Laford. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
