She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rydell and Mary Rydell (Dardinski); her sister Marie Newayno; her husbands, Joseph P. Cotter, Sr. and Robert G. Seiders; her son Walter D. Cotter; and her grandson Brandon J. Showalter.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cotter Jr. (Irene) of Middleton, John Cotter (Lee) of Newton and Catherine Showalter (Ronald) of Dennis; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Cotter of Marshfield.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (1203 Commercial St, Weymouth, MA 02189). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Blue Hill Cemetery (700 West St, Braintree, MA 02184).
