He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pauline Kightlinger (Fischer) and Fred M Kightlinger, Jr.; his sister Lisa Kightlinger; his brother-in-law Robert Salmon of Dennis, MA; and his sibling's children, Christopher Salmon and Karolena Salmon.
Colleagues and students recall Mark reading, while walking the halls of the Law School – a habit that neighbors found equally amusing when COVID sent everyone home, and Mark took to walking the neighborhood while reading for work or pleasure.
