She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavio Carrascal (Emma Perez) and Norte of Santander, Colombia.. She is survived by: her children, Raymondville, Lasara, Edcouch and Brownsville; and her sisters, Fanny Carrascal Perez and Gladys Carrascal Perez. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She went to high school in Ocana and decided to enter the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Charity of the Presentation.
