He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael F. Prendergast Sr. and June Prendergast. He is survived by: his wife Judy A. Prendergast (Johnson); his brother John T. Prendergast; his children, Keith M. Prendergast and Paula M. Sargent; his stepson Jay Walsh; his grandchildren, Samantha Sargent, Charles Sargent (CJ), Morgan Prendergast, Michael Prendergast and John Prendergast; his daughters-in-law, Beth Walsh and Brenda Prendergast; his sister-in-law Yennie Prendergast; and his son-in-law Chris Marsh.
