It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bama McBride (Dorchester, Massachusetts), born in Beatrice, Alabama, who passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Samuel T. Beasley. She is survived by: her spouse McNeal Beasley Sr.; her children, McNeal Beasley Jr. (Ida), Esther K. Johnson (Ollie), Ethel M. Wormley (Harvey), Mary L. Mitchell (late Hersey Lee), Lorain Groves (late Russell), Sandra E. Borders (John) and Eddie Lee McBride; and her grandchildren, Stevie Beasley, Maxcine Beasley, Brenda Beasley, Andre Beasley, McNeal Beasley III, Samuel Beasley Jr., James Beasley, Clyte Lydia Portis, Sam Smith, TyQuan Smith, Debra Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Loretta F. Beasley, Laura Beasley, Odessa Wormley, Bernadette Holder, Terrell Beasley, Tami Russell, Leylana N. Higgins-Borders, John M. Borders, IV, Brittany L. Borders-Green, Robert Lewis and Shenna Grice. She is also survived by thirty-three great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
