Domenic Buonopane Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Domenic Buonopane of Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Domenic Buonopane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne Buonopane (Murphy); and his son James Buonopane (Cinda Rich). He is survived by: his children, Michael Buonopane (Joanne) of Saugus, Theresa Fontes (Robert Pickett) of Hudson, Deb Buonopane of Quincy, Diane Bernazzani (Robert) of Norwood and Joseph Buonopane (Jacqueline) of Sharon; his grandchildren, Nicole Buonopane, Jaclyn Tukianen (John), Kerri Buonopane, Domenic Fontes, Brianna Fontes, Kristina Buonopane, Nicholas Buonopane, Kathryn Van Acker (Brandon), Gerard Bernazzani (Tobyn), Andrew Bernazzani and Ethan Tukianen; and his siblings, Lucia Sheehan (late Arthur), Mary Saccardo (late Joseph), Ernest Buonopane (Joanne) and Pat Buonopane (Diane). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home (740 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (243 Neponset Ave, Dorchester, MA 02122).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Domenic to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
