With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Farrell of Dorchester, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. and Mary E. Madden (Goss); her siblings, Mary F. Madden, Gertrude Altieri, Raymond J. and Edward J. Madden; her husband William S. Farrell of Brigham's Ice Cream; her son William G. Farrell (Regina M.); and her grandchildren, William G., Jr. and Madeleine E. Farrell.
She is survived by: her nephews, Christopher, Matthew, Leonardo Altieri, Jack, Jay Noble and John E. Madden; her niece Joan Fiore; and her cousin Doris Goss.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Parish in Sacred Heart Church (386 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02171). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
