She was predeceased by: her husband John F. Waters; and her sister Helen O'Brien. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin F. of Mansfield, John "Jack" F. Jr. of Easton and Edward X. of Dorchester; her grandchildren, Kevin Jr., James, Mary, Katie, Annie and Ellie; and her siblings, Mary Cass, Patricia Martin, Joe Kelly, James Kelly, Ann Mullen and Eddie Kelly. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fran's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Charitable donations may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
