We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2025, at the age of 101, Irene M. (Griffin) Hunt of Dorchester, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Irene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Irene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Raymond Hunt; and her sibling's children, Donna M. Long of Whitman, Diane Brugman of Dorchester and William Hunt (Margaret) of Milton. She was also cherished by many loving great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (920 Adams St, Boston, MA 02124).
