He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Claire M. Monahan (Boushell); his children, Lisa Schneider (Paul), Michele Mullin (Kevin), Brian Monahan (Allison) and James F. Monahan Jr. Dear; his siblings, Marie Kerr, Claire Holt, Eileen Wilson, Jane McLaughlin and Patricia Manso; and his grandchildren, Jack, Ava Mullin, Emily, Alise Schneider, Charlotte and James Monahan.
