She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Jennie (LoSchiavo); and her siblings, John, Arthur Paino, Mary Paino and Helen Rando (Paino).

She is survived by: her sister Gilda Cincotta (Paino). She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and their spouses.

“Joan was quite a lady. She was witty, classy, and had a heart of gold. Joan was a very strong woman, stubborn at times, yet one of the most moral persons I knew. I had the utmost respect for her. I loved listening to her stories of when she was younger and spent time with her cousins and also of her travels abroad. She was by far the best gardener I knew. She spoke so highly of her siblings and the extended family. We will miss her greatly, but the memories will live on. Regina and Loschiavo's”
