He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary L. Coyne (Parker); his children, John F. Coyne (Shannon Hume) of Canton, Phillip M. Coyne (Jodi) of Braintree and Mary B. Coyne of Dorchester; and his grandchildren, Ali, Kelley, Sean, Brittany, Ashley and Jarrad.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (920 Adams St, Boston, MA 02124).
