It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena (Monteiro) Mendes (Dorchester, Massachusetts), born in Plymouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 8, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Mendes; and her brother Ralph. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Mendes, Richard Mendes, Raymond Mendes, Lawrence Mendes, Paul Mendes, Walter Mendes, James Mendes, Vance Mendes, Nancy Jenkins, Lorraine Mendes-Pires, Henry Mendes, Roy Mendes, Anthony Mendes, Harold Mendes and Evon Mendes; and her siblings, Regina Montiero of Stoughton, Blanche, Caroline, Teddy, Antoinette, Albert and Eva. She is also survived by many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephew.
