Marie E. Devine Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 85, Marie E. Devine of Dorchester, Massachusetts passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie E. Devine to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband John P. "Jack" Devine; her daughter Susan M. Devine; her parents, Martin F. and Mary T. Griffin (Hill); and her brother John (Irene Griffin).
She is survived by: her son Michael P. Devine of Dorchester; her grandchildren, Patrick Devine, Kerrin Devine and Kelsey Devine; her great grandchild Ava Grace; her siblings, Catherine T. "Kate" Flaherty of Dorchester and William (Linda Griffin) of Quincy; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Blake and Thomas Devine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (1020 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester, MA 02125). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish (800 Columbia Rd, Boston, MA 02125). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery (920 Adams St, Boston, MA 02124).
