It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary B. (McColgan) O'Toole of Dorchester, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin J. O'Toole; her daughter Ann M. Ryan; and her siblings, Roseleen "Toddy" Dello Russo, William and Donald McColgan.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Beth" Emery (Scott) of Dorchester, Kathleen Fahey of Dorchester, John O'Toole (Elizabeth) of Dorchester, Stephen O'Toole of Dorchester and Jennifer Boles (Andrew) of Milton; and her sisters, Anne Gendrolis and Marjorie Sullivan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John J. O'Connor & Son Funeral Home (740 Adams St, Dorchester, MA 02122). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan's Church (589 Gallivan Blvd, Boston, MA 02124).
