She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Sr. Smith and Minnie Bell Smith; her husband John H. Caldwell Sr.; her sisters, Barbara Ferguson, Betty Ora Moss, Earlene Calhoun and Laura Mae Smith; and her son-in-law Raymond Little Sr..
She is survived by: her grandchild Western; her daughters, Norma Taylor (Roy Payne) of Memphis, Pamela O'Neal, Cynthia Key (Donald Key), Lisa O'Neal (Larry Flemon), Alberdella Smith and Selena Smith of Boston; her siblings, Izola Barnes of California and Sylvester Smith of Lynn; and her grandchildren, Larry O'Neal, Donald Key Jr., Jamika Flemon, Alexandria Porter (Nathaniel Porter), Fadil Hanley Jr., Raymond Little Jr., Leshana Flemon, Latrell O'Neal, Jaylan Payne, Shaiana Little and Jovian Payne.
