She was predeceased by: her child Thomas J. Smith; her sister Rita McCormick; and also James J. Smith. She is survived by: her children, Daniel C. (Susan Smith) of Weymouth, Kathleen A. Smith of Manchester, NH and James J. Smith III of Quincy; her grandchildren, Shawnee, Lauren and Julia Smith; her great grandchildren, Nicholas Silva and Angelina Smith; and her siblings, Robert Maxwell of Pittsfield, Dwight Maxwell, Edward Maxwell, Adrian Maxwell, Anna Maraggio, Paul Maxwell and Charles Maxwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
