He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie Jones (Roberto); his parents, Charles Jones and Kathryn Jones; his children, Debbie McIntyre (John) of Winthrop, Cheryl Marino (David Fasano) of Lynnfield, Diane Kyne (Joe) of Dorchester and Michael Jones (Cordae) of Milton; his granddaughter Allesandra McIntyre; and his siblings, Virginia Devlin, Charles Jones, Francis Jones and Kathleen Jones. He was also cherished by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home (326 Granite Ave, Milton, MA 02186). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Brendan's Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Boston Fire Department Relief Fund.
