Christopher McHugh wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sad to hear about my best childhood friend Ron Shea. Ronnie was a character. He was opinionated. He loved Elton John, the Bruins, Ford cars, etc. and you couldn’t make him change his mind. One summer he played the song “My Love” by Paul McCartney constantly until I couldn’t stand it anymore. Ronnie worshipped his father. Ronnie smoked Winstons because his father did, and insisted I smoke Winstons too. I hadn’t seen Ronnie for a while. I know he was a hard worker. I will miss him.”
