She was predeceased by: her friend John Dewire; her brothers, Richard Neely (June), Frank Neely (Barbara) and George Neely; her parents, George Neely and Sarah Neely (Sadie); and her aunt Agnes Cadigan.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Richard Neely of Franklin, MA, Stephen Neely (Donna) of Mansfield, MA, Maura Neely (Ross Kelly), Frank Neely (Ron Parmakis), Kathleen Means (Michael) of Hanson, MA and Brian Neely (Pam) of Abington, MA.; her cousin Bonnie Berringer; her caregivers, Margaret Admirand and Kathleen Lynch; and also, Michael and Mary Kavanaugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Virginia's honor to the Fund for Teachers at fundforteachers.org.
