Willie A. McCants Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie A. McCants of Dorchester, Massachusetts, born in Gable, South Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brothers, Walter McCants and John Berlin McCants of North Carolina; his wife Elizabeth McCants of Dorchester; his daughters, Raquel D. McCants (Gregory Jackson) of Dorchester and Natalie Y. McCants of Jamaica Plain; his grandchild Natisha C. McCants of Dorchester; his siblings, Betty Goodman of South Carolina, Carolyn Wheeler of South Carolina, Anne Elizabeth Wheeler of South Carolina, Ethel Rister of South Carolina, Jannie Isom of South Carolina, Mary Nell Simmons of Pennsylvania, Thaddeus McCants (Lizzie) and Therin McCants (Mary) of South Carolina; and his sister-in-law Christina McCants (Joy) of South Carolina. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
