She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Rogers and Bertha Rogers (Martin); and her husband George L. Plays. She is survived by: her children, Beverly A. Kessler (William) of Uxbridge, Sally R. Staples of Uxbridge, Stephen G. Plays of Douglas, Linda J. Nydam (Douglas) of Uxbridge and Sharon E. Emerick (Thomas) of Uxbridge; and her significant other Palmer Swanson of Douglas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
