He was predeceased by : his brothers, Mark, Dean, Dennis and Terry Adams; and his parents, Carlton D. Adams and Shirley B. Adams (Walker).

He is survived by : his stepson David Shugrue; his children, Jesse, Tracy, Justin (Steinmetz) and Westley Adams; his former life partner Kathy Adams; and his brothers, Peter Adams and Ron Adams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
