With sadness, we share the passing of Cleo J. Surprenant of Dracut, Massachusetts. Cleo passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Cleo for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Cleo’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria Brown (Francisco). He is survived by: his sons, Daniel Surprenant (Helena) of Michigan and Michael Brown (Elyse) of Dracut; his siblings, Doris Santos of Tewksbury and Floyd; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ash of Westford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Princeton Station (147 Princeton St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863).
For eight years he ran the Make-A-Wish Foundation Golf Tournament, which made dreams come true for many children.
