She was predeceased by : her husband Richard James Leighton; and her parents, Aurelio Ita Relion and Petra Baez of Ita. She is survived by : her son Richard J. Leighton of San Francisco, CA; and her siblings, Rosara Ita Rodriguez, Luz Ma Ita Tellez, Artemisa Ita Garza and Leopold Ita Bae of Monterrey Mexico. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
