With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Irene (Flynn Bowden) Shawcross (Dracut, Massachusetts), born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025 at the age of 93. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Janet Irene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Janet Irene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Thomas and Dorothy Haskell Flynn (Coose); and her sisters, Alberta and Jackie. She is survived by: her children, Scott (Debra Annis), Russell (Mary Edna Salvi), Carla (Richard Milhomme), Michelle (Peter Annis) and Lonna (Janet); her husband Kenneth Shawcross; and her cousin Gail Busl. She is also survived by three great-great-grandchildren.
