Makara Lek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Makara Lek of Dracut, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sambo Neth and Tim Som; her husband Sam Oeun Lek; her daughters, Borynette Johnson and Boradeth Chham; and her siblings, Noreth Som, Phourin Tim, Noroeun Som, Norenn Som and Boridha Tim.
She is survived by: her son Khamara Lek of Boston, MA; her grandchildren, Emma Beyer of Boston, MA and Ethan E. Johnson of Lowell, MA; and her sister Kanika Heng (Tong Heng) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, our family will be donating all contributions in Makara's memory to support memorial services and her extended family in Cambodia.
