Demers of Dracut, Massachusetts, born in Medford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvio J. Demers and Lillian A. Demers (Armstrong); and his sister Sharon Demers. He is survived by: his wife Regina M. Demers (McAvoy); his children, William (Marissa Menear) of Whitman, MA, Cynthia (Kevin Farrell) of Hudson, NH, Michael (Danielle) of Hudson and Daniel of Dracut, MA; his grandchildren, Erin, Ryan, Sara and Greyson; his brother Philip of Nashua, NH; his sibling's children, Lori of Florida and Paul of Florida; and his sister-in-law Linda Nielsen of Hudson, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Richard's memory to American Diabetes Association at https://diabetes.org the family's request, all services will be privately held.
