He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Joseph LaPorte and Julia LaPorte (Koziol); and his brother Arthur Joseph LaPorte, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Norma Virginia LaPorte (Cielakie); his children, Lynne Singleton (David Singleton), Richard Joseph LaPorte (Deborah LaPorte) and Sharon Marie Lagos (John Meehan); his grandchildren, Kacie Ruth (Christoper Ruth), Bethany Keylor (Ben Keylor), Alexander Singleton, Christopher Lagos, Luke Lagos and Julie Lagos; and his great grandchildren, Celine Lagos, Noah Ruth, Jason Ruth and Barrett Keylor.
